Gordon House Surgery‘s Patients Participation Group is now a well established group where patients, members of the medical staff and the Practice Manager are able to meet to discuss matters relating to the surgery.

Meetings and Events
The Forum meetings are arranged by our PPG steering group. The group consists of 6 active members from the patient population and we meet approx. 6-8 times a year dedicating a lunchtime to focus on practice development and discuss areas of improvement.

TOPIC: SUMMER AILMENTS

Dr Ramage’s presentation aims to cover:
- Summer ailments
- The Garden and the Great Outdoors, (including hayfever, asthma, stings, amongst other things, and a demonstration of how to use an Epipen)
- Heat (including sunburn, heatstroke, food poisoning etc)
- Travelling and Holidays (including travel sickness, DVTs, some tropical diseases, and travel immunisations)
There will be an open forum for questions with the audience after the presentation for all patients to contribute.
